Michelle Obama the First Lady announced that Cristeta Comerford will stay on as White House executive chef, that puts the rest on all the speculation surrounding the decision. When Barack Obama won the presidency His focus shifted to the transition of the administration, including the staff of the Presidential residence, so the rumors begun circulating that the White House chef will also be replaced. This reason for this is because of the extreme difference in food preference between President Barack Obama and the former President George W. Bush. While the former President George W. Bush reportedly prefers BLTs, burgers, white-bread grilled cheese sandwiches and refuses to eat anything "green" nor "wet foods",The new President Barack Obama Loves to eat greens, fresh vegetables and other with highly nutritional value foods -" especially the meals that is straight from the garden". She is Born in the Philippines, and attended the University of the Philippines and majored in food technology. Even if she did not earn her degree, for the reason that she had to left the school and immigrate to the United States. She still excells in everything that she does.Cristeta's very first job was at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago. She had also worked at the Hyatt Regency. Then After Chicago, she moved to Washington DC, and had to worked as a chef at two restaurant establishments. Chef Cristeta had also spent six months in Vienna as a rotating chef. She was spotted by the executive chef Walter Scheib III in the year 1995 to work in the Clinton White House. When Scheib resigned as executive chef in early 2005 , Chef Cristeta Comerford was appointed to be the Executive Chef by the former First Lady Laura Bush on August 14, 2005.
